Hodak Eyes Robi and Kakang for Persis Solo Clash

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Bojan Hodak has opened the possibility of fielding Robi Darwis and Kakang Rudianto in Persib Bandung’s match against Persis Solo, set for Sunday,(12/29/2024). The Liga 1 week 17 encounter will be held at Stadion Manahan, Solo.
“Kakang and Robi are back and in good condition. They didn’t play much for the national team, so I’m considering starting one of them,” Hodak stated. The two players recently returned from the 2024 ASEAN Cup, where Indonesia finished third in Group B and exited in the group stage.
Robi featured in four matches as a substitute, accumulating 29 minutes, while Kakang played 45 minutes in a single game. Meanwhile, Persib resumed training on Thursday, with only Febri Hariyadi undergoing separate rehabilitation with the physiotherapy team.
“The team’s overall condition is improving. Resting the players was essential to ensure they return focused, fresh, and ready to compete,” Hodak remarked. He remains optimistic about extending Persib’s five-game winning streak in Liga 1.
Persib currently sits second in the standings with 35 points from 15 matches, just two points behind leaders Persebaya Surabaya, who have played one more game.
