Indonesia Women Football Team Climbs to 107th in Latest FIFA Rankings
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) released its latest Women’s World Ranking on Friday (6/14).
According to the inside.fifa.com website, the Indonesian women's national team has moved up two spots to 107th with 1191 points. Previously, in March, they were ranked 109th with 1180 points.
This improvement is attributed to the team's strong performance under coach Satoru Mochizuki throughout May and June. Notably, the Garuda Pertiwi team won 3-0 against Bahrain in an international friendly on Tuesday (6/11) with goals from Claudia Scheunemann, Zahra Muzdalifah, and Citra Ramadani.
