Meski Arsenal unggul jumlah pemain sejak menit ke-61 setelah Diogo Dalot menerima kartu merah, mereka gagal memanfaatkan peluang di waktu normal maupun babak tambahan.
Penentuan pemenang dilakukan melalui adu penalti, di mana semua penendang MU sukses menjalankan tugasnya. Kiper Altay Bayindir menjadi pahlawan dengan menepis tendangan Kai Havertz, memastikan kemenangan 5-3 untuk MU.
Kemenangan ini membawa MU melangkah ke babak selanjutnya, sementara Arsenal harus mengakhiri perjalanan mereka di Piala FA.
