Indonesia Pastikan 6 Wakil di 5 Nomor di HSBC BWF World Tour Finals 2024

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Federasi Bulu Tangkis Dunia (BWF) mengumumkan daftar atlet bulu tangkis teratas untuk berlaga dalam ajang BWF World Tour Finals 2024 yang akan digelar di Hangzhou, Tiongkok, pada 11-15 Desember mendatang. Indonesia memiliki enam wakil di lima nomor, diantaranya yaitu atlet tunggal putra Jonatan Christie, yang lolos pada detik-detik terakhir setelah menembus partai puncak China Masters 2024 dan semifinal Kumamoto Masters 2024 di Jepang.

Lalu, pada nomor tunggal putri diwakili oleh Gregoria Mariska Tunjung yang menempati peringkat keempat dalam kualifikasi WTF 2024. Sedangkan pada nomor ganda putra, Indonesia mengutus dua wakil, yakni Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto pada peringkat empat dalam kualifikasi dan pasangan non-pelatnas Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh. Reza Pahlevi Isfahani, yang memastikan tempat WTF usai menembus final China Masters 2024.

Di sisi lain, Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi menjadi satu-satunya wakil Indonesia dalam nomor ganda putri. Mereka memastikan tempatnya di BWF World Tour Finals 2024 setelah konsisten pada beberapa turnamen terakhir di Asia. Sementara itu, di nomor ganda campuran akan diwakili oleh Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja.

Nantinya, para pemain yang lolos kualifikasi BWF World Tour Finals 2024 akan memperebutkan total hadiah 2,5 juta dolar AS atau sekitar 39,82 miliar rupiah.
