SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pelatih Timnas Indonesia Shin Tae-yong (STY) berharap pertandingan-pertandingan Timnas Indonesia selanjutnya dalam kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026 berlangsung dengan adil dan wajar. Hal tersebut disampaikan STY dalam konferensi pers jelang laga melawan Tiongkok, Senin (14/10).

Pelatih asal Korea Selatan tersebut menyinggung kembali pertandingan Timnas Indonesia saat bertandang ke markas Bahrain yang berakhir dengan skor imbang 2-2. STY mengaku dirinya merasa Timnas Indonesia mampu menang di Bahrain, namun ia tidak ingin membahas secara terperinci mengenai pertandingan tersebut.

Selanjutnya, Timnas Indonesia dijadwalkan melakoni laga keempat putaran ketiga kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026 melawan Tiongkok di Stadion Qingdao Youth Football, Tiongkok, Selasa (15/10). Wasit asal Uni Emirat Arab Omar Mohamed Ahmed Hassan Al-Ali dilaporkan menjadi wasit yang memimpin laga tersebut.
