SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Indonesian Football Association has officially announced the dismissal of Indonesia national team coach Shin Tae-yong (@shintaeyong7777). The announcement was made directly by PSSI chairman Erick Thohir at a press conference in Jakarta on Monday (1/6).
The dismissal is part of PSSI's evaluation. In his official statement, Erick Thohir admitted that his party needed a leader who could better implement the strategies agreed upon by the players, better communicate and better implement the program for the Indonesian national team.

The 54-year-old tactician's string of successes has also seen Garuda rise from 174th to 127th in the FIFA world rankings. Meanwhile, Shin Tae-yong's successor is already in place but has not yet been announced by PSSI.
