PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir Appreciates the Indonesian National Team's Efforts : They Did Their Best
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Chairman, Erick Thohir, appreciated the efforts of the Indonesian national team players despite the 4-0 loss to Australia in the Round of 16 of the Asian Cup 2023 on Sunday (1/28). Minister Erick said the players gave their best.
The Indonesian national team is considered to have played well against Australia. Despite losing the ranking, Ivar Jenner and the team were able to make life difficult for Australia, especially in the first half.
"Beyond the score, I think the players are maximal, want to give their best, look relaxed, enthusiastic and not afraid," said Erick Thohir, as reported by the official PSSI website on Monday (1/29). He also said that the players should not lament the loss to Australia. The reason is that the Indonesian national team still has other events to look forward to.
