Indonesia Ditunjuk Jadi Tuan Rumah Asia Futsal 2026
SEAToday.com, Kuala Lumpur - Konfederasi Sepak Bola Asia (AFC) secara resmi menunjuk Indonesia sebagai tuan rumah Piala Asia Futsal 2026, Senin (11/11).
Penetapan ini merupakan hasil persetujuan Komite Eksekutif AFC atas rekomendasi Komite Futsal dan Sepak Bola Pantai AFC pada 8 November. Kabar ini juga menyusul Timnas Futsal Indonesia yang berhasil menjuarai ASEAN Futsal Championship 2024, Minggu (10/11) setelah mengalahkan Vietnam 2-0.
Indonesia sebelumnya pernah menjadi tuan rumah kejuaraan ini pada tahun 2002. Namun sayangnya, perjuangan Timnas tahun itu terhenti di putaran pertama. Hingga saat ini, Indonesia belum pernah mencatatkan prestasi dari Piala Asia Futsal.
