Hasil Liga Inggris: Chelsea dan MU Sama-Sama Menang

MU yang menjamu Newcastle United menang 3-2 masing-masing berkat gol Kobbie Maino (31'), Amad Diallo (57'), dan Rasmus Hojlund (84'). Sementara, gol Newcastle dicetak masing-masing oleh Anthony Gordon (48'), dan Lewis Hall (90+2).
Berkat kemenangan ini, MU untuk sementara menempati peringkat ke-8 dengan 57 poin. Tim asuhan Erik ten Hag itu akan menutup musim ini dengan bertandang ke markas Brighton Albion, Minggu (19/5/2024) malam WIB.
Di tempat terpisah, Chelsea membuka peluang masuk Liga Europa musim depan. Tim asuhan Mauricio Pochettino itu menang 2-1 atas tuan rumah Brighton. Dua gol Chelsea dicetak oleh Cole Palmer (34'), dan Charles Nkuku (64').
Tambahan tiga poin membuat The Blues menempati peringkat ke-6 dengan 60 poin. Chelsea hanya terpaut tiga poin dari Tottenham Hotspur yang berada di atasnya.
Pada laga terakhir, Chelsea akan menjamu Bournemouth di Stamford Bridge.
