McTominay masing-masing mencetak gol di menit 49 dan 69. Sementara, satu gol Chelsea disarangkan Cole Palmer pada menit 45.
Di tempat terpisah, juara bertahan Manchester City harus takluk dengan skor tipis 0-1 dari Aston Villa.
Sebiji gol Aston Villa dicetak oleh Leon Bailey di menit ke-74. Kekalahan ini membuat Man City turun peringkat ke posisi empat klasemen.
