Jakarta E-Prix Will be Held on June 21

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The 2025 Jakarta E-Prix will take place on June 21, 2025 and will be attended by 22 international racers from 12 teams from England, Germany, Switzerland, France, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Brazil and Barbados.

Quoting the official release, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship racing event will take place at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) in Ancol, North Jakarta. The team from PT Jakarta Propertindo or Jakpro together with representatives of Formula E Operations (FEO) have also conducted a management walkthrough, exploring the entire circuit area.

"This management walkthrough is not just a physical and technical check, but also our way of ensuring that all elements, from the circuit to the visitor experience, have been prepared properly," said Adi Andyana as Director of Business and Operations of PT Jakarta Propertindo.

We want the 2025 Jakarta E-Prix to be truly ready to welcome spectators with the highest standards and present a world-class sportainment experience, both in terms of sports, entertainment, and supporting facilities," he added.

With the work progress reaching 90 percent, various key elements ranging from the race track, entertainment stage, visitor area, to supporting facilities are now in the final stages and ready to undergo the official verification process from FEO in the near future.

This walkthrough was conducted to ensure that every part of the venue meets the global standards set by the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
