Ketua Umum PSSI Inginkan Kualitas Rumput di Stadion GBK Sama Seperti Pertandingan di UEFA EURO
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Ketua Umum Persatuan Sepak Bola Seluruh Indonesia (PSSI) Erick Thohir menginginkan kualitas rumput Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno (SUGBK) sama seperti rumput lapangan pada kompetisi UEFA Euro 2024.
Di pertandingan pada awal Juni lalu, rumput di GBK sempat dikritik karena permukaan yang kurang rata.
Timnas Indonesia akan melakoni beberapa pertandingan dalam laga putaran ketiga Kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026 pada September, namun pertandingan tersebut akan digelar di Gelora Bung Tomo Surabaya karena Stadion GBK akan dipakai kunjungan Paus Fransiskus.
Setelah laga di Surabaya, Skuad Garuda akan kembali bertanding di Stadion GBK pada Oktober dan November mendatang. Untuk itu, Erick Thohir berharap rumput GBK dapat dibenahi hingga laga lanjutan tersebut.
