Siap Berlaga di Singapore Open 2024, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting Fokus pada Strategi hingga Jaga Mental

SEAToday.com, Singapura-Singapore Open 2024 berlangsung di Singapore Indoor Stadium mulai 28 Mei hingga 2 Juni 2024. Pada turnamen level BWF Super 750 ini, ada 11 wakil Indonesia yang siap berlaga, termasuk tunggal putra Anthony Sinisuka Ginting.

"Selalu merasakan excited ketika bermain di Singapore Open. Tapi ini pertandingan yang baru dengan tantangan yang baru juga. Kepercayaan diri (untuk mempertahankan gelar) harus ada tapi saya tidak berfokus dengan itu," kata Anthony Sinisuka Ginting dikutip dari keterangan resmi di laman PBSI.

Ia melanjutkan, "Fokus saya adalah bagaimana caranya bisa menerapkan strategi dengan baik, jaga mental dan jaga pikiran untuk menampilkan permainan yang terbaik."

Diakui Ginting, bila Singapura adalah salah satu negara favoritnya. "Singapura menjadi salah satu negara yang saya suka," terangnya.

"Ada beberapa hal di sini yang kondisi di luar turnamennya bisa membuat saya lebih rileks, lebih enjoy menjalani hari. Sebelum atau setelah pertandingan," tambah Ginting.

Ia menutup, "Kalau di tes lapangan tadi, saya rasa tidak ada perubahan dengan tahun lalu. Dari kondisi lapangan ataupun karakter shuttlecocknya relatif sama."
