Sejarah Baru! Dua Pembalap Indonesia Naik Podium World Supersport 300 di Perancis
SEAToday.com, Magny-Cours - Kakak beradik pembalap Indonesia cetak sejarah baru! Galang Hendra Pratama dan Aldi Satya Mahendra naik podium sebagai pemenang Race 1 World Supersport 300 (WorldSSP300) di Sirkuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, Perancis, Sabtu (7/9). Untuk pertama kalinya, dua bendera Indonesia berkibar di kejuaraan ini.
Aldi Satya Mahendra dari Team Brcorse Yamaha memulai balapan di posisi kedua dan berhasil mengakhirinya juga di posisi kedua. Aldi berhasil melewati garis finis dengan perbedaan waktu 0,77 detik dari peraih posisi pertama Unai Calatayud asal Spanyol. Sementara sang kakak, Galang dari tim ProGP NitiRacing, berhasil finis di tempat ketiga dengan perbedaan waktu 1,02 detik dari sang adik.
Kemenangan ini berhasil menempatkan Aldi di posisi teratas klasemen sementara WorldSSP300 dengan perolehan total 148 poin. Sementara Galang berada di peringkat ke-8 dengan perolehan 78 poin.
