Yordania ke Final Piala Asia usai Taklukkan Korea Selatan
SEAtoday.com, Doha - Yordania melenggang ke final Piala Asia 2023 setelah mengandaskan perlawanan Korea Selatan (Korsel) di babak semifinal, Selasa (6/2/2024) malam WIB. Menghadapi calon kuat juara, Yordania menang meyakinkan 2-0.
Pada laga ini, Korsel sebetulnya diunggulkan karena punya materi pemain yang lebih baik. Akan tetapi, Yordania yang bermain gigih justru dapat membuat Korsel kerepotan.
Setelah bermain imbang 0-0 di babak pertama, Yordania membuka skor lewat Yazan Al Naimat di menit 53. Kemudian pada menit 66, Yordania menambah gol lagi berkat aksi Mousa Tamari.
Hasil ini membuat Yordania mencetak sejarah dengan lolos ke final Piala Asia untuk pertama kalinya. Di saat yang sama, kekalahan ini membuat bintang Korsel Son Heung Min belum mempersembahkan trofi di level senior.
Striker Tottenham Hotspur itu baru mempersembahkan medali emas Asian Games 2018. Itu pun ia raih saat tampil bersama timnas Korsel U-23.
