SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Timnas Indonesia akan meladeni tuan rumah Australia di Sydney Football Stadium pada lanjutan Putaran Ketiga Kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026, Kamis (20/3/2025).
Ini akan menjadi laga pertama Patrick Kluivert sebagai pelatih timnas Indonesia senior. Juru taktik asal Belanda itu didatangkan usai PSSI memecat pelatih Shin Tae-yong.
Menghadapi Australia, timnas Indonesia menggaet beberapa nama baru hasil naturalisasi antara lain Emil Audero, Dean James, dan Joey Mathijs Pelupessy. Ketiganya pun sudah bergabung dengan para pemain lain di Sydney.
"Alhamdulillah, skuad kita sudah semakin lengkap. Emil dan Joey sudah tiba lebih awal, kemudian Dean tadi pagi. Kami berharap mereka bisa segera beradaptasi dengan tim dan menjalani persiapan dengan baik," ujar Sumardji, Manajer Timnas Indonesia seperti dilansir situs resmi PSSI.
