Ketua PSSI Erick Thohir Bangga Timnas Putri Indonesia melaju ke Final Piala AFF 2024
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Ketua Umum PSSI Erick Thohir mengungkapkan rasa bangganya atas keberhasilan Timnas Putri Indonesia melangkah ke final AFF Women's Cup 2024 setelah mengalahkan Singapura dengan skor telak 3-0 di semifinal.
"Final! Timnas Putri Indonesia berhasil melangkah ke final AFF Women's Cup 2024 setelah menang atas Singapura di semifinal," ujar Erick dikutip ANTARA melalui unggahan Instagram resminya, Senin (4/12).
Kemenangan Garuda Pertiwi di Stadion Nasional New Laos, Vientiane, ini dicetak melalui gol Claudia Scheunemann di menit ke-6, Reva Octaviani di tambahan waktu babak pertama (45+1’), dan Octavianti Nurmalita di penghujung laga (90+4’).
Keberhasilan ini juga mengantarkan tim asuhan pelatih Satoru Mochizuki lolos ke ASEAN Women's Championship 2025. Dalam turnamen mendatang, tiga tim teratas dari Piala AFF Putri 2024 akan bersaing dengan empat tim terbaik dari Piala AFF Putri 2022, yaitu Filipina, Thailand, Myanmar, dan Vietnam.
"Kemenangan ini sekaligus memastikan Timnas Putri lolos ke ASEAN Women's Championship 2025," ucap Erick
Di partai final Piala AFF 2024, Garuda Pertiwi akan menghadapi Kamboja yang sebelumnya menang 3-0 atas Timor Leste di semifinal. Pertandingan final akan digelar di Vientiane pada Kamis (5/12) pukul 19.30 WIB. Dengan semangat tinggi dan dukungan penuh, timnas putri diharapkan bisa mencetak sejarah baru di laga final.
