SEAToday.com, Jakarta-Pesepak bola Ole Romeny, yang digadang-gadang akan segera bermain untuk Timnas Indonesia, membagikan foto dengan anak-anak Kelompok Asuh Pelita Hati (@ka.pelitahati) yang memegang bola di Jakarta, Sabtu (16/11). Ole menuliskan “The youth🤍” (para pemuda) pada foto tersebut.
Sejumlah akun Instagram membagikan momen Ole bermain sepak bola dengan anak-anak tersebut serta satu orang dewasa lain.
Sebelumnya, Ole menyaksikan pertandingan Kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026 zona Asia antara Indonesia dan Jepang di Stadion Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, Jumat (15/11). Kemudian, pada Sabtu (16/11), Ketua Umum PSSI Erick Thohir mengunggah foto bersama Ole yang dipersepsikan merupakan sinyal awal naturalisasi pesepak bola tersebut.
Ole ter Haar Romeny adalah pemain sepak bola kelahiran Nijmegen, Belanda, pada 20 Juni 2000. Ia diketahui memiliki garis keturunan Indonesia dari pihak ibunya, di mana neneknya berasal dari Medan, Sumatra Utara. Pemain dengan tinggi 185 cm ini berposisi sebagai penyerang serba bisa, mampu bermain di lini tengah maupun sebagai striker utama. Pada musim 2023/2024, Ole Romeny memperkuat klub Eredivisie Belanda, FC Utrecht.
