SEAToday.com, Qatar - Timnas U23 Indonesia berhasil unggul 1-0 melawan Australia dalam laga kedua Grup A Piala Asia U23 AFC 2024 yang digelar di Stadion Abdullah bin Khalifa, Doha, Qatar, Kamis (18/4).
Pertandingan berjalan sengit sejak menit awal. Di babak pertama, Australia mendapatkan peluang emas melalui tendangan penalti, namun tendangan tersebut berhasil dimentahkan oleh kiper Timnas Indonesia, Ernando Ari Sutaryadi. Garuda Muda kemudian berhasil membuka skor di menit ke-45 melalui gol sundulan Komang Teguh yang disambut umpan Nathan Tjoe-A-On dari tendangan sudut.
Di babak kedua, kedua tim tampak memberikan tekanan namun tak satu gol pun tercipta hingga peluit akhir dibunyikan.
Selanjutnya, Garuda Muda akan berhadapan dengan Yordania pada 21 April mendatang.
