SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pemain klub Oxford United, Ole Romeny, dijadwalkan menjalani sumpah sebagai warga negara Indonesia (WNI) pada 8 Februari mendatang.
Informasi tersebut dikonfirmasi oleh Menteri Hukum, Supratman Andi Agtas, Rabu (29/1). Ia menyebutkan proses naturalisasi pemain berusia 24 tahun ini terus berjalan dan diharapkan dapat selesai, terutama proses di Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR).
Selain Romeny, dua pemain lain juga akan menjalani sumpah di hari yang sama, yaitu Tim Geypens dan Dion Markx.
Ole Romeny diperkirakan dapat membela skuad Garuda dalam pertandingan pada Maret mendatang. Kehadirannya diharapkan dapat memperkuat lini depan Indonesia.
