Venue Kualifikasi Piala Asia U-20 2025 Pindah ke Stadion Madya
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Persatuan Sepak Bola Seluruh Indonesia (PSSI) mengumumkan lokasi untuk pertandingan Kualifikasi Piala Asia AFC U20 2025 yang akan diikuti oleh Timnas U20 Indonesia, menjadi di Stadion Madya, Senayan, Jakarta, dari sebelumnya di Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno (SUGBK). Hal ini menyusul renovasi yang dilakukan oleh Pusat Pengelolaan Komplek Gelora Bung Karno (PPKGBK).
Direktur Pembangunan dan Pengembangan Usaha PPKGBK Muhammad Rofik Anwar mengatakan, lapangan (Field of Play/FOP) Stadion Utama GBK akan dilakukan lanjutan tahapan pada pemeliharaan besar guna menyambut putaran ketiga Kualifikasi Piala Dunia FIFA 2026 Zona Asia pada bulan November mendatang.
Dengan demikian, seluruh pertandingan di Grup F babak Kualifikasi Piala Asia U20 AFC 2025 yang dimulai, Rabu (25/9) harus dialihkan ke Stadion Madya Senayan. Skuad Garuda Muda akan menghadapi Maladewa, Timor Leste, dan Yaman dalam grup tersebut.
