FIFA Tunjuk Brasil Jadi Tuan Rumah Piala Dunia Putri 2027

FIFA menunjuk Brasil sebagai tuan rumah Piala Dunia Putri 2027 usai mengatakan Kongres FIFA ke-73 di Bangkok, Thailand. Dalam laman resmi FIFA Sabtu (18/5), Brasil memperoleh 119 suara dalam pemilihan mengalahkan tuan rumah bersama yakni, Belgia, Belanda, dan Jerman yang memperoleh 78 suara. Brasil menjadi negara Amerika Selatan pertama yang menjadi tuan rumah dalam turnamen tersebut.
Piala Dunia Putri 2027 tersebut akan menandai edisi kesepuluh dari turnamen empat tahunan yang telah berkembang sejak dimulai di Tiongkok pada tahun 1991. Sejak turnamen pembukaan, Swedia, Amerika Serikat, Jerman, Kanada, Prancis, dan Australia & Aotearoa Selandia Baru (tuan rumah bersama) semuanya telah menyelenggarakan setidaknya satu edisi.
