Tim Boccia Indonesia Raih 2 Emas dan 1 Perak dalam kejuaraan Montreal World Boccia Cup 2024 di Kanada
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Tim Nasional Boccia Indonesia berhasil meraih dua medali emas dan satu medali perak dari kejuaraan internasional Montreal World Boccia Cup 2024 yang digelar pada 29 April-5 Mei di Kanada. Hal tersebut diumumkan dalam postingan National Paralympic Committee (NPC) Indonesia di Instagram (@npcindonesia), Sabtu (11/5). Ajang ini diikuti 26 negara.
Medali emas pertama dipersembahkan Muhamad Afrizal Syafa dari kelas individual BC1 male. Sementara emas kedua disumbangkan Felix Ardi Yudha dan Gischa Zayana dari kelas team BC1/2. Sedangkan medali perak disumbangkan oleh Felix Ardi Yudha di kelas individual BC2 male.
Pelatih Islahuzzaman Nuryadin berharap, prestasi ini bisa menjadi suntikan semangat bagi atlet Boccia Indonesia lainnya untuk mempersiapkan kemampuan terbaik untuk tampil di Paralimpiade Paris 2024 pada Agustus mendatang. (DHITA/ DKD)
