Erick Thohir: Bangga Jay Idzes Sukses Buat Sejarah Jadi Pemain Indonesia Pertama Cetak Gol di Liga Italia
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Ketua Umum Persatuan Sepak Bola Seluruh Indonesia (PSSI) Erick Thohir mengaku sangat bangga pada Jay Idzes yang menjadi pemain pertama Indonesia yang mencetak gol di Serie A atau Liga Italia. Hal tersebut disampaikan Erick Thohir, Senin (16/12).
Erick menilai, gol Idzes di laga Venezia melawan tim raksasa Juventus pada pekan ke-16 Liga Italia, Minggu (15/12), tersebut merupakan prestasi bagi Idzes serta wujud tak langsung dalam upaya mempromosikan sepak bola Indonesia di mata dunia. Erick mengatakan, prestasi tersebut bisa menjadi bagian dari sebuah kampanye sepak bola Indonesia mendunia.
Diketahui, pemain yang berposisi sebagai bek tengah tersebut mencetak gol sundulan pada menit ke-83 usai memanfaatkan umpan tendangan bebas Hans Nicolussi Caviglia.
