Alami Cedera dan Absen Bela Timnas Indonesia, Mees Hilgers Minta Maaf

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pemain Timnas Indonesia Mees Hilgers meminta maaf kepada fans Timnas Indonesia karena harus absen membela skuad Garuda dalam laga melawan Jepang pada Jumat (15/11).
Dalam unggahannya di media sosial Instagram @meeshilgerss, Rabu (13/11), Hilgers mengaku dirinya masih membutuhkan waktu untuk pulih sepenuhnya agar bisa memberikan yang terbaik untuk Indonesia di pertandingan selanjutnya. Meski demikian, Hilgers tetap mendoakan skuad Garuda meraih poin dan hasil bagus.
Diketahui, nama Mees Hilgers tidak tercantum dalam daftar panggil 27 pemain Timnas Indonesia dan ia dikonfirmasi batal bergabung. Klub FC Twente tidak melepasnya dengan alasan ia sedang cedera.
