Gol 'Kontroversial' Qatar Kalahkan India di Kualifikasi Piala Dunia FIFA 2026

SEAToday.com, Doha - Qatar meraih kemenangan 2-1 atas India dalam pertandingan Grup A Kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026 yang digelar di Stadion Jassim bin Hamad, Doha, Selasa (11/6). Namun, kemenangan tersebut diwarnai kontroversi terkait sebuah gol yang dijuluki 'gol hantu'.
India, yang menempati peringkat 121 dunia, secara mengejutkan unggul terlebih dahulu melalui gol Lallianzuala Chhangte pada menit ke-37.
Pertandingan berubah kontroversial ketika gol Yousef Aymen untuk Qatar diprotes keras oleh tim India. Pasalnya, bola terlihat sudah keluar lapangan sebelum melewati garis gawang. Kiper India Gurpreet Singh Sandhu gagal mengamankan bola dan membiarkannya menggelinding ke luar lapangan agar menjadi tendangan sudut.
Namun, para pemain Qatar yang sigap dengan cepat menarik bola tersebut kembali ke dalam area permainan, dan wasit gagal menyadari bahwa seluruh bola sebenarnya sudah keluar lapangan dan mengesahkan gol tersebut.
Memanfaatkan situasi India yang terguncang, Qatar menambah keunggulan melalui gol Ahmed Al-Rawi pada menit ke-85, sekaligus memastikan kemenangan mereka.
