Komisi Grand Prix: Spesifikasi Bahan Bakar MotoGP 2024 dan Batas Usia Baru
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Komisi Grand Prix mengumumkan spesifikasi bahan bakar baru serta memperluas pengecualian usia bagi pembalap muda pada musim 2024. Hal ini diumumkan dalam laman resmi MotoGP, pada Selasa (19/12).
Batas usia baru ditetapkan minimal 17 tahun bagi para pembalap yang finis di posisi tiga besar di klasemen kejuaraan FIM JuniorGP dan Red Bull Rookies Cup. Langkah ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah perjalanan karier pembalap-pembalap muda berprestasi agar bisa naik ke kelas balap yang lebih tinggi di musim selanjutnya.
Selain itu, Komisi Grand Prix juga menyetujui regulasi baru terkait spesifikasi bahan bakar dan pelumas untuk semua kelas balap yakni MotoGP, Moto2, dan Moto3 pada musim mendatang. Aturan baru tersebut mewajibkan penggunaan bahan bakar minimal 40 persen yang berasal dari non-fosil, dan meningkat menjadi 100 persen yang berasal dari non-fosil mulai 2027.
