Ketua Umum PSSI Erick Thohir Apresiasi Keberhasilan Strategi Shin Tae Yong Bawa Indonesia ke 8 Besar Piala Asia U-23
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Ketua Umum PSSI Erick Thohir menyampaikan apresiasinya kepada seluruh pihak yang terlibat dalam keberhasilan Tim Nasional (Timnas) Indonesia masuk dalam babak perempatfinal Piala Asia U23 AFC 2024 usai menundukkan Yordania dengan skor 4-1 dalam laga penentuan Grup A di Stadion Abdullah bin Khalifa, Doha, Qatar, Minggu (21/4). Keberhasilan ini mencatatkan sejarah baru bagi pencapaian Timnas U23 Indonesia.
Erick menilai hal ini merupakan bukti bahwa skuad Garuda Muda mampu menunjukkan kualitasnya di level Asia. Lebih lanjut, Erick turut mengapresiasi keberhasilan pelatih Shin Tae-Yong dalam meramu strategi permainan tim menjadi benar-benar baik. Ia menilai, para pemain menghadirkan permainan yang berkelas, tampil tanpa beban, dan terus menekan lawan. Hal ini menjadi motivasi untuk target berikutnya, yakni lolos Olimpiade. (DHITA/ DKD)
