Muhammad Yahya Ayyash, Atlet Indonesia Raih Perunggu di Piala Dunia Panahan Berkuda Al-Ula 2023
SEAToday.com, Arab Saudi - Atlet Indonesia Muhammad Yahya Ayyash meraih perunggu di ajang Piala Dunia Panahan Berkuda Al-Ula Horseback Archery World Cup 2023, yang diselenggarakan di Arab Saudi, Senin (18/12). Yahya sukses merebut posisi ketiga di nomor pertandingan Qabaq. Posisi pertama diduduki oleh atlet asal Arab Saudi, Hesham Ali Altamimi, dan disusul oleh Yeralkhan Aikoz, atlet asal Kazakhstan.
Turnamen dunia ini mempertandingkan 3 disiplin panahan berkuda, yaitu Kassai Style, Korean Serial Shot, dan Qabaq. Indonesia menghadirkan empat atlet panahan berkuda terbaiknya, yaitu Hardika (Sumatera Barat) sebagai kapten tim, Alan Pratama (DKI Jakarta), Muhammad Yahya Ayyash (Jawa Tengah), dan Bagas S. Prabowo (Lampung).
Sebelumnya, Indonesia lolos kualifikasi grup 1 World Horseback Archery Federation (WHAF) di Malaysia pada Oktober lalu.
